Its been a week since i signed up to a popular online dating site and so far I have only had one message from another user on there (im male) Why is my profile getting so little response, is this normal, i have not yet sent any emails to people! I have a picture and an honest profile, im an attractive guy (so i have been told) Whats going wrong,or is this just normal for anyone?

Just take your time, the right one will hopefully pop up. Online dating though popular, has a lot of issues with it, you'de be better off going in person to places to meet people.

you need to send a few emails, you need to give it time.
Its all in the wording of your profile. For example if a girl types that she is a very sensitive type, this is a big mistake. Why because guys will say to themselves," bugger that one she's too sensitive and I will have heaps of hassles". See what I am getting at?, so go back over the wording of your profile.
Dont sit back and wait for women to contact you. Most of the time women are inundated with messages from men, and therefore dont get time to 'browse' profiles. They are too busy replying to messages. What are you waiting for??? Send some messages!
You have to be proactive especially with Asain women. Don't wait to get respond, you have to sent out email and show your interseting. I'm a Thai, we were tought that only bad girls show off to get attraction. If you are on dating Thai sites you have to start first to get respond.
In the online world of dating there seems to be so many more men than women. Make your profile honest, show a sense of humour, don't sound too desperate or needy. Also, why haven't you sent any emails out? Look through the profiles and send chatty interesting emails. Check your spelling and grammar, it's important to a lot of women. first of all you need a good pic. Nice and clear that shows your body to make sure your not fat. People are shallow. they want to make sure you look good.
