Do you think the whole online dating sites is a waste of time?

I have been on one, a very popular one, wont say it. I have been on there for 6 months and havnet found a man yet that is worth being in a relationship. Now you will all say why not go out there and find him? Well, because you all dont know my life situation. I still have to rely on my parents to get me every where. I have been taking care of them.. My dad lost his job when I was a teen and had to leave school at the age of 16, I am 27 now, but up until then have been having to take care of them becuase my father will get a job with corporate and then loose it again. So, yeah I am screwed any ways. I am barely getting by now. So, driving lessons would be to much for me.

3. Dating on-line is fake and rubbish. Let be honest here. Most people hid behind PC when dating on-line. Your better getting out and meeting real people. Join a club etc and meet real people. If you did met a guy on-line how can you check him out?
4. I don't think dating sites are a waste of time. I personally know of two couples that met tha way and got married and they are very happy. However I think is patetic that you no detach from your folks, wherever the situation might be, you are a woman now and you have to do your own life"before is to late"
5. on line dating is OK..but not for everyone you sound like an honest person..why can't you go to the gym and meet someone or YMCA? the Y told me they don't turn anyone down for lack of $$$...but you should get out and meet people..there are more people waiting to meet someone like you..but on line is not always a good way to meet them..don't you have any friends that you hang with? go to the library, museums, zoo, swim? walk around in the Mall..where there is a will there is a way..some churches encourage young and older people introductions...you won't find anyone who will beat down your door..you will have to make an effort..volunteer your time at the humane society or some other worthy cause..but you have to get off of your duff.. good luck...
